History of Dot Tool

Kevin Sanders outside his office in Boonville
Tennessee

April of 1979 our family business was started by my father Paul Sanders, my Mother Dorothy Sanders, and my Brother Jay D. Sanders. They were located at 111 North Lincoln in Fayetteville, Tennessee which was known as the old Honda Shop location.

The old Honda shop was and is still owned by Mayor Jon Ed Underwood which now has an antique shop in the building. (Miss Daisy's Antique Shop)

Dot Tool was known then as Sanders Tool and Die. The main service was to build, repair, and maintain Dies for various manufacturing companies. Precision machining was also their specialty. Sanders Tool and Die remained in business at this location until Sept. 1. 1991. The building of 40x80 shop located on the family farm was the new home of Sanders Tool and Die.

January 1. 1992 Dot Tool became our new business name. Dot Tool was named after my Mother Dorothy Sanders. The management at this time began being handled by Kevin Sanders. Me! The business started changing slowly from machining to fabrication. by the Spring of 1994 Dot's production began on our own product line which consisted of Lawn and Garden products.

Presently, Dot Tool still does general fabrication of material handling racks. Our product line keeps expanding in the Lawn and Gardening, Christmas Figures, Woodworking, and Horse Tack areas.

Our present location is best found by our map.
